Young Jonathan Harker arrives at an isolated castle in Transylvania in the year 1872 A.D., hoping to secure the real estate contract that will make his fortune and enable him to finally marry his fiancee, Mina.
What he finds there is an undead Medieval Warlord who believes himself to be the Saviour of Men and who is embarking on a mission to spread the gift of Eternal Life to 'modern' London.
Once in London, Dracula cuts a swathe through the population, including Mina's employer, Lucy.
He is given away by the ramblings of Renfield, an inmate of Bedlam Asylum and Harker's erstwhile employer, who describes to Drs. Seward and Van Helsing the Rapture that awaits them once "the bridegroom cometh".
Forced to kill Lucy after she has risen from the dead to feed on human blood, Van Helsing confronts Dracula with the truth of his existence, putting him to rout.
The hunting party of Mina, Harker, Van Helsing, Seward and his friend Quincy pursue Dracula across Europe back to his lair in Transylvania, there to confront Evil with the greatest weapon of all: the Truth.
